Tower Theatre is a Streamline Moderne theater at the northwest corner of North Wishon and East Olive Avenues in Fresno, California. Its 20,000-square-foot building is shaped like an arrowhead: the auditorium forms the shaft, set at a 45-degree angle to the streets, while two wings hold retail space. An 80-foot concrete tower with neon tube lighting rises above a cantilevered marquee that wraps around the entrance.

Three theater proposals preceded the Tower: a $200,000 Fox/Wishon plan of December 1938, an abandoned 1939 design by Thomas F. Chase, and a $65,000 Redwood Theatres scheme. Permits were issued on May 11, 1939, for a $100,000 Wishon/Fox theater codenamed "The Ritz", built by Trewhitt, Shields and Fisher. It opened on December 15, 1939, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 24, 1992, and reopened in 1990 as a performing arts center.

The neighborhood takes its name from the theater's 80-foot tower. Since 2002 the nonprofit Fresno Filmworks has screened first-run independent cinema here on the second Friday of each month, and the venue also hosts the annual Fresno Film Festival. Dutch-born muralist Anthony Heinsbergen created the "Leda and Swan" and "Vine" motifs on the ceiling and walls.

The theater stands at the northwest corner of North Wishon and East Olive Avenues, and the building's arrowhead shape means the auditorium sits at a 45-degree angle to both streets. The original 2.12-acre block included an on-site parking lot, a feature no other vintage theater in Fresno had. Fresno Filmworks has shown first-run independent cinema here on the second Friday of each month since 2002.

The 80-foot concrete tower was fitted with neon tube lighting and capped by a pronged orb, its design revised by S. Charles Lee in August 1939 to resemble the 130-foot "Star Pylon" of the 1939 New York World's Fair, which symbolized the force of electricity. The building's arrowhead plan puts the auditorium at a 45-degree angle to Wishon and Olive Avenues, with retail wings flanking it.
