Eastside Cannery, Casino hotel and skyscraper on Boulder Strip in Sunrise Manor, Nevada.
The Eastside Cannery is a casino hotel and skyscraper along the Boulder Highway east of Las Vegas. This 16-story building combines steel, glass, and bronze in an industrial design that contrasts with the classic casino aesthetic found elsewhere in the region.
The property opened in 2008 as Cannery Casino Resort and was built on a site previously occupied by Nevada Palace. Boyd Gaming took over operations in 2016 and has continued its development.
The casino floor contained 2,187 slot machines and 26 table games, reflecting the gaming preferences of Nevada residents and visitors.
The hotel offers over 300 rooms across 16 floors and includes multiple dining options and a pool area. Its location on Boulder Highway is accessible by public transportation and provides adequate space for guests and event groups.
The property stands on the former site of Nevada Palace, which continued partial operations during the construction of Eastside Cannery until February 2008.
