Murray City Park

Murray City Park is a public recreational space featuring an outdoor amphitheater, swimming pools, ice rink, arboretum, and multiple sports fields across several acres. Inside the Park Center are additional indoor amenities including a lazy river, elevated track, basketball courts, and a weight room.

The city developed this space as a recreational hub to serve community needs over time. It has grown to include both outdoor and indoor facilities that serve the broader population.

A wooden sculpture of Chief Wasatch at the main entrance honors the presence of local tribes in the area.

The park has five pavilions available for group gatherings with proper reservations. All major areas are spread throughout the grounds, so plan to walk between different sections depending on your interests.

The Park Center features an elevated running track that circles the interior, an unusual element for a community park. This allows visitors to enjoy a stadium-like setting while accessing other facilities nearby.
