Murray City Park extends across multiple acres featuring an outdoor amphitheater, swimming pools, ice rink, arboretum, rugby field, softball field, and soccer fields.
The city established this recreational space as part of its Parks & Recreation program to provide outdoor activities and community gathering opportunities for local residents.
A wooden sculpture of Chief Wasatch, created by Peter Wolf Toth, stands at the main entrance on State Street and 5100 South representing local tribes.
The park includes five pavilions available for reservation, with applications required 45 days in advance and approval from the Park Superintendent.
The Park Center contains indoor pools with a lazy river float area, elevated track, basketball courts, weight room, and childcare services for infants through age 12.
