Sommet Saint-Sauveur

Sommet Saint-Sauveur is a ski resort in the Laurentian Mountains northwest of Montreal with 40 runs at various difficulty levels. The descents spread across the terrain, offering gentle slopes for beginners and steeper sections for more experienced skiers.

The area was founded in 1934 when one of Quebec's first ski lifts was installed here, establishing winter sports in the region. This beginning laid the groundwork for Saint-Sauveur Valley to develop into a major ski destination in the province.

This resort remains open unusually long thanks to snowmaking across all runs, averaging over 160 operating days per season. This extends skiing opportunities in the region considerably, as natural snowfall here is less predictable.
