Lake Cascade State Park

Lake Cascade State Park covers about 500 acres of land surrounding a large reservoir created by damming the North Fork Payette River. The park features ten developed campgrounds distributed around the shoreline and six boat launch points for water access.

The park was established in 1999 as part of Idaho's effort to preserve natural areas for public use. The reservoir at its center resulted from damming the river, a transformation that shaped the landscape over previous decades.
