The white stone temple features a central spire reaching 156 feet high with an angel Moroni statue at its summit over Memorial Drive.
Construction of this tenth temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began in 1939 and concluded in 1945 after World War II.
The interior contains four ordinance rooms decorated with hand-painted murals depicting religious scenes and nine ceremonial sealing rooms for religious ceremonies.
The temple provides clothing rentals for ceremonies and offers endowment presentations in multiple languages through scheduled appointments at the recommend desk.
The temple grounds include a waterfall feature that replaced the original reflecting ponds during renovations completed in 2011.
