Spruce Meadows, Equestrian sports complex in Foothills County, Canada

Spruce Meadows is an equestrian sports facility in Foothills County that includes multiple outdoor and indoor arenas designed for show jumping. The grounds contain specialized competition areas and training spaces for both amateur and professional riders.

The Southern family founded Spruce Meadows in 1975 on former farmland, hosting its first competition the following year. The facility gradually became a recognized venue for international show jumping events and tournaments.

Each year three foals born at Spruce Meadows are named by the public in the Name the Foal contest, and when CBC televises the tournaments each foal is profiled individually. The grounds also breed, train and sell Hanoverian horses. The facility's name comes from the spruce trees of the Southern family's original land.

The facility has clear parking areas and marked roadways connecting to the main grounds for easy navigation. Visitors should check in advance as access may vary depending on scheduled events and training sessions.

ATCO Field, home of Cavalry FC, was built on the Meadows on the Green jumping ring and opened on 4 May 2019 with a 2–1 win over York 9 FC in snowy conditions. Its 4,500-seat covered grandstand on the east side is modular, and the pitch still hosts equestrian events.
