Morinville

Morinville is a town situated north of Edmonton along Highway 2 in Alberta. It has schools, grocery stores, healthcare facilities, and the Morinville Leisure Centre offering sports and recreational programs.

A missionary named Jean-Baptiste Morin established this settlement in 1892 with French and German pioneers. It became an official village in 1901 and has grown steadily since then.
