The administration section at Nußwaldgasse 14 displays ornamental design elements and was originally designed as a specialized production facility.

Johann Zacherl founded the factory in 1870 to produce a specialized insect powder that quickly reached international markets like Paris, London, and New York. The current building was constructed between 1888 and 1892 under Karl Mayreder's direction, incorporating oriental design elements into its industrial structure.

The building brings together factory design and oriental artistic elements, especially visible in its decorative tiles and dome structure. This unusual combination creates a space where industrial purpose and artistic craftsmanship meet in an unexpected way.
