150er Tux

The 150er Tux is an aerial cable car in the Zillertal Alps that connects the valley with the high mountain region. The ride overcomes roughly 700 meters of elevation gain and takes only a few minutes.

The cable car was built in 2001 by Doppelmayr and opened the high mountain area to easier access for skiers. It has since become a key piece of infrastructure serving the winter sports community.

At its steepest section, the cable car climbs at roughly 74 percent gradient, making it one of the most demanding aerial lifts in the Alps. Passengers experience intense moments with extraordinary views of the surrounding mountain landscape.
