Residenzgalerie Salzburg, Art gallery in Salzburg Residenz, Austria.

The Residenzgalerie spans an extensive collection of European paintings from the 16th to 19th centuries within the east wing of Salzburg Residenz.

Established in 1923 after the fall of the monarchy, the gallery aimed to replace the former prince-archbishops' collection that diminished during the Napoleonic wars.

The museum displays masterworks by Rembrandt, Rubens, and Brueghel, alongside significant Italian, French, and Austrian paintings from the Baroque period.

Located in DomQuartier Salzburg, the museum welcomes 51,680 visitors annually and provides educational programs with specialized guided tours in multiple languages.

The Czernin Collection, acquired between 1980 and 1991, contains an extraordinary assembly of 17th-century Dutch paintings alongside Italian, Spanish, and French works.
