Kahlenberg Cemetery, Heritage protected cemetery in Döbling district, Austria.

Kahlenberg Cemetery is a burial ground in Vienna's 19th district with rows of headstones and traditional grave plots. The site holds documented graves whose inscriptions preserve information about people from the Döbling area.

Kahlenberg Cemetery was consecrated on 21 December 1783, laid out below Josefsdorf on the Kahlenberger Straße. It is a protected monument. The graves with funeral monuments date mainly from the Biedermeier period, and the Resurrectionist monks who serve the church on the Kahlenberg still bury their deceased confreres here. Since 2019 the cemetery has also been used for natural burials.

The cemetery reflects the lives of families from Döbling who were laid to rest here across generations. The way graves are maintained and decorated shows how important remembrance and continuity are to this Vienna community.

The cemetery lies on the southern slope of the Kahlenberg, below Josefsdorf, off the Kahlenberger Straße in the Vienna Woods. It is a small site with a handful of graves, so it can be seen in a short visit. Do not confuse it with the parish cemetery of Kahlenbergerdorf, also on the slope.

The cemetery is often confused with the parish cemetery of Kahlenbergerdorf, which lies on the same slope of the Kahlenberg. The two are separate burial grounds, and the Kahlenberger Friedhof, also called Josefsdorfer Friedhof, is the one below Josefsdorf on the Kahlenberger Straße.
