Sieveringer Pfarrkirche, Gothic church in Döbling, Austria
The Sieveringer Pfarrkirche features a cross-vaulted hall with four bays and a choir section supported by external buttresses.
Initially documented as a chapel in 1330, the church was elevated to parish status in 1348 and underwent major renovations in 1896.
The baroque high altar displays Saint Severin, who replaced Saint Andrew as the church patron during the 5th century missionary period.
The church stands at Fröschelgasse in Vienna's 19th district, surrounded by a park that replaced the former cemetery.
Several ancient tombstones from the previous cemetery were integrated into the church facade during the 1896 reconstruction.
