Uniqa Nouvel Tower, Modern hotel tower on Danube Canal, Vienna, Austria
The 75-meter Uniqa Nouvel Tower contains 182 rooms across 19 floors, with extensive glass walls offering views over the Danube Canal and Vienna's center.
Completed in 2010, the tower replaced the former Bundesländer-Versicherung building that occupied the location from 1959 until the early 2000s.
French architect Jean Nouvel designed this contemporary structure, integrating modern architectural elements into Vienna's traditional urban landscape.
The hotel includes 26 suites, conference facilities, a spa on the fifth floor, and multiple restaurants accessible through 17 elevators throughout the building.
Das Loft restaurant on the top floor features an artistic light installation by Pipilotti Rist that transforms the dining experience with color displays.
