Hoadl

Hoadl is a mountain summit in Tyrol reaching 2,340 meters, part of the Sellrain range within the Axamer Lizum ski area. The peak sits at the heart of this ski region, providing access to various runs and trails that descend in multiple directions.

The slopes hosted alpine skiing events during the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics, bringing international attention to the region. These competitions spurred the development of modern lift systems and facilities that remain in use today.

The Hoadlhaus restaurant features the largest covered terrace in the Alps, offering views across multiple mountain ranges. This distinctive setup lets visitors enjoy sweeping vistas while remaining sheltered from wind and weather.
