Marx-Halle spans 20,000 square meters of indoor space with high ceilings supported by intricate metal frameworks, accommodating up to 5,500 people simultaneously.
Constructed in 1880 as a cattle market facility named Rinderhalle, the building opened in January 1881 with capacity for 4,000 cows.
The venue hosts multiple annual events including design markets, craft beer festivals, art fairs, and multimedia exhibitions throughout its expansive floor space.
Located at Karl-Farkas-Gasse 19, the hall connects to public transit through U3 subway line, trams 18 and 71, plus buses 74A and 80A.
The structure maintains its original 19th-century industrial iron architecture while functioning as a modern event space with barrier-free accessibility.
