Una National Park

Una National Park extends across 198 square kilometers of natural terrain, encompassing the Una River and its tributaries near the Croatian border.

The establishment of Una National Park in 2008 marked a significant step in protecting the Upper Una River, Krka, and Unac river systems.

The medieval fortress Ostrovica and Rmanj Monastery within the park boundaries demonstrate the historical development of this region through centuries.

Visitors access the park through Bihać city, where the management office JP Nacionalni park Una provides information about hiking trails and water activities.

The Štrbački Buk waterfall forms the largest cascade system on the Una River, reaching a height of 24 meters across multiple limestone steps.
