Kasteel van 's Herenelderen, 16th-century castle in Tongeren, Belgium.
The U-shaped limestone and brick castle features three floors with cross-frame windows, surrounded by a continuous water-filled moat with corner towers.
The castle passed from the Van Hamal family to the Van Renesse family through marriage in the early 16th century and remains in their possession.
The castle incorporates architectural elements from different periods, including late Gothic, Baroque, and Louis XVI styles, reflecting regional building traditions.
The castle stands opposite Saint Stephen's Church on Sint-Stefanusstraat and functions as a private residence for Count Jean de Renesse.
The agricultural buildings display Baroque architecture with two corner towers and heraldic shields featuring the Renesse-Bocholtz family coat of arms.
