Château de Beaumont, Liège, Neoclassical château in Sclessin, Belgium

The three-level brick and limestone castle features a horseshoe-shaped perch with wrought iron railings and pilasters adorning its five-bay main facade.

Baron de Geyer de Schweppenberg, canon of Saint Lambert Cathedral, commissioned architect Jacques-Barthélemy Renoz to build this residence in 1772.

The interior decoration preserves complete neoclassical elements from the 18th century, with an octagonal entrance hall featuring black and white tiles.

The château sits at 293 Rue Côte d'Or, 300 meters upstream from the Val-Benoît level crossing and the ISSEP institute.

The building includes high cellars with blue stone decorations to compensate for the hillside slope, with several doors integrated into the basement.
