Bois-Seigneur-Isaac Castle, Heritage castle in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

The castle features wide arched bay windows with a triangular pediment and includes a round tower with arrow slits from its defensive past.

Originally constructed as a feudal fortress in the 12th century, the castle underwent transformation into its current classical French-style structure during 1737.

The Snoy family maintains residence in this castle for five generations, including Jean-Charles Snoy et d'Oppuers who signed the Treaty of Rome.

The castle opens to visitors twice annually in June or July, with guided tours available for groups of 10 to 15 people at 7 euros per person.

Behind the castle extends a French garden that leads to an English park containing trees that have stood for several centuries.
