Brigidakapelle

The Brigidakapelle chapel stands in the center of Berlotte, constructed with regional blue limestone and featuring architectural elements from the early 18th century.

Based on a donation in 1695, the chapel was built in 1711 and expanded with an additional bay in 1722, marking its position along the ancient Roman road Kinkebahn.

The chapel functions as a central point for the annual Berlotter Kirmes festival in August, bringing together residents for community celebrations near its grounds.

The building sits between Eynatten and Berlotte, with accessible pathways leading to it from multiple directions through the German-speaking region of Belgium.

Local residents maintain the chapel with dedicated care, preserving its structure despite the absence of regular religious services within its walls.
