Ogreyak, Mountain summit in Vlahina Range, Bulgaria and North Macedonia
Ogreyak rises to an elevation of 1924 meters, offering views across the mountainous landscapes of both Bulgaria and North Macedonia.
The summit has marked the natural border between Bulgaria and North Macedonia since the territorial divisions established in the early 20th century.
Local communities from both countries maintain traditional ceremonies at the peak during summer solstice, following customs that span generations.
Hikers can access the summit through marked trails from either the Bulgarian or North Macedonian side, with the ascent taking approximately four hours.
The peak experiences a meteorological phenomenon where clouds form specifically around its summit during early morning hours throughout summer months.
