Built in 1845 by master-builder Gencho Mladenov, this house became the residence of Todor Kableshkov, who led the April Uprising against Ottoman rule.

The museum exhibits personal belongings, photographs, and historical documents that detail the life of Todor Kableshkov and the Bulgarian independence movement.
From this house, Todor Kableshkov declared the start of the April Uprising, making it the location where the Bulgarian liberation movement began.
