Andrew Haydon Park, Riverside park in Ottawa, Canada

Andrew Haydon Park lies on Carling Avenue at Holly Acres Road, on the Ottawa River beside Britannia Bay in western Ottawa. Landscape architect Donald W. Graham worked on the design. The grounds hold a bandshell for outdoor concerts, a picnic area, walking trails, play structures and two ponds; a flat wooden footbridge crosses a stream, with a large rounded deciduous tree on the far bank.

Andrew Haydon Park is named after Andrew Haydon, a former Reeve of Nepean, the municipality that once governed this land west of Ottawa. The park lies on the Ottawa River at Carling Avenue and Holly Acres Road, beside Dick Bell Park and the Nepean Sailing Club. Landscape architect Donald W. Graham worked on the project.

The park serves as a gathering place where residents and visitors come together for outdoor events, celebrations, and leisure time by the water. On weekends and sunny days, you see families and friends enjoying the riverside setting as part of their daily lives.

Andrew Haydon Park sits on Carling Avenue at Holly Acres Road, on Ottawa's west side, with the Nepean Sailing Club next door at Dick Bell Park. Dogs must stay on a leash and are kept at least five metres from children's play areas and pools. The two ponds and the marshy river edge draw geese and ducks, so watch your footing on the grass.

Dogs were long barred from Andrew Haydon Park and neighbouring Dick Bell Park; in 2009 Ottawa allowed them on leash for a one-year pilot aimed at the summer Canada goose problem, and the rule was later extended indefinitely. Leashed dogs must still stay five metres from children's play areas and pools.
