Beaudry Provincial Park, Provincial park in St. François Xavier and Cartier, Manitoba.
Beaudry Provincial Park is a protected area along the Assiniboine River with riverbottom forest, prairie grassland, and walking trails. The grounds span roughly 950 hectares and provide multiple routes through different natural habitats.
The area was established in 1974 and formed from several private properties, including substantial land from a Winnipeg businessman's estate. This merger of private holdings created the foundation for the protected area that exists today.
The park's name honors the Beaudry family who lived in this region for generations. Visitors can explore the different habitats that are actively maintained by local conservation groups.
The park is located along MB-241 near Springstein and is open year-round for visitors. Marked trails, fire pits, and restroom facilities are available on the grounds.
A grassland restoration program started in 1986 significantly expanded the prairie area through deliberate management efforts. This work demonstrates how degraded ecosystems can be brought back through focused conservation practices.
