Bell Bay Golf Club

Bell Bay Golf Club is an 18-hole course set across rolling terrain with views of Bras d'Or Lake from various points around the layout. The holes wind through changing elevations that create different strategic challenges and sightlines throughout the round.

The course was designed by Thomas McBroom and opened in 1997, becoming an established venue for competitive golf in Nova Scotia. It gained regional recognition after hosting the Cape Breton Open in 2017 and 2018.

The club draws golfers from the local area and beyond who gather for regular tournaments and social events throughout the year.

The course offers professional instruction, club rentals, and practice areas to help players of all levels prepare for their round. The clubhouse includes dining facilities and other amenities available during the golf season.

The 18th hole stands out for its natural terrain and strategic water hazards positioned to finish play right along the shoreline of Bras d'Or Lake. Players often remember this closing hole as the most memorable moment of their round.
