Villa Saint Martin

Villa Saint Martin occupies a position on the shore of Lac des Deux Montagnes at the western end of Montreal Island, next to Cap-Saint-Jacques park.

The center opened its doors in 1913 under Archbishop Paul Bruchési, marking the establishment of Canada's first residential spirituality center for religious retreats.

Visitors stay in private rooms equipped with essential furnishings including a single bed, sink, desk, and armchair, with shared bathroom facilities throughout the building.

The center expanded its services in the 1960s to include specialized programs for married couples and support groups for Alcoholics Anonymous participants.
