Tolochenaz

Tolochenaz is a small municipality in the Morges District located on the northern shore of Lake Geneva. The community covers approximately 1.6 square kilometers, with about one-third of the land used for farming and agricultural purposes.

The community has developed over centuries as a rural settlement on the lakeshore. Its growth remained closely tied to agricultural activities in the surrounding lands, shaping its character to the present day.

The local cemetery serves as the final resting place of actress Audrey Hepburn, who made her home here from 1963 until her death in 1993. Visitors often come specifically to this small community to pay respects at her grave.
