Musée du château de Morges

The Musée du château de Morges contains five museums within its medieval walls, featuring military history, artillery, historic figurines, police heritage, and Paderewski collections.

Built between 1286 and 1291 by Louis of Savoy, the fortress represents a traditional Savoyard square design with four round towers at each corner.

The Swiss Historic Figurine Museum displays reconstructed battlefields with miniature soldiers wearing period uniforms, collected and arranged by Raoul Gérard.

The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00, with extended hours until 18:00 during July and August, and admission costs 10 CHF for adults.

The Artillery Museum exhibits 40 different artillery devices spanning multiple centuries, complete with their corresponding projectiles and technical specifications.
