Brüglingen

Brüglingen is a multilevel park in Münchenstein featuring landscaped gardens, maintained pathways, and a diverse collection of seasonal plants. The grounds also include a restaurant and various areas designed for relaxation and exploration.

A watermill museum on the grounds dates to 1259 and processed grain until 1925. The building was then converted into an educational center and remains part of the site today.

The gardens display traditional cultivation methods and host plant varieties from different climate zones. Visitors can see how the spaces are designed to support both learning and relaxation.

The grounds are accessible daily without admission fees and feature broad pathways that are easy to walk through. Late morning or early afternoon tends to be a good time to visit when the area is less crowded.

The grounds contain a life-size model of a diplodocus dinosaur placed unexpectedly among the botanical exhibits. This combination blends natural history with garden culture in an unusual way.
