Büelenhorn is a 2808 m summit of the Monstein chain in the Albula Alps, on the municipal boundary between Davos and Bergün Filisur. Its main ridge runs from the Stulsergrat in the west over the peak to the Mäschengrat in the east, with a broad ridge shoulder continuing north just west of the highest point. The Val da Stugl bounds it to the south and the Landwassertal to the north. It is not the 2513 m Büelenhorn near Davos Dorf.

The Büelenhorn lies on the municipal boundary between Davos and Bergün Filisur, which runs across its summit. The peak belongs to the Monstein chain, a subgroup of the Albula Alps, framed by the Val da Stugl to the south and the Landwasser valley to the north. Its main ridge runs from the Stulsergrat in the west over the summit to the Mäschengrat in the east.

The summit lies on the municipal boundary between Davos and Bergün Filisur, and the ridge route from Davos Monstein over the Büelenhorn to the Stulsergrat and Muchetta ends in Filisur or at Davos Wiesen station. The Büelenhorn is not the 2513 m summit of the same name near Davos Dorf. The main ridge runs from the Stulsergrat in the west over the summit to the Mäschengrat in the east.

The summit is most often climbed from Davos Monstein (1626 m) via Unteralp, Inneralp, Mittelalp and Mäschenboden (1993 m) to the north ridge, about 3½ hours at T3. The long ridge walk continues over the Stulsergrat (2678 m) and Muchetta (2623 m) to Filisur or Davos Wiesen station, 6–7 hours, marked white-red-white but not always visible on the ground.

The peak serves as both a hiking destination in summer and a ski touring location in winter. Different routes for each season provide distinct experiences for mountain enthusiasts.
