Speichersee Valos

Speichersee Valos is a storage reservoir located at about 1674 meters elevation near Lenzerheide with a sizable water body held in a contained basin. Multiple hiking trails provide access around the shoreline and the landscape is framed by mountain slopes.

The basin was constructed in the early 2000s to store water for snow production on the ski slopes in the area. It forms part of a system of reservoirs that were developed to support winter sports operations at Lenzerheide.

The reservoir serves as a gathering place where visitors and locals walk around the water and spend time outdoors together. Open shoreline areas make it easy to access and use the space as a social hub in the mountains.
