Xinxiang

Xinxiang is a prefecture-level city in northern Henan, situated across fertile plains. The area lies between the Yellow River and Haihe River drainage zones, forming a key location in central China's landscape.

Administration of this area began during the Sui Dynasty when Xinxiang County was established in 586. This founding marked the start of organized government in the region.

The Mausoleum of King Lujian displays stonework and architectural details from the Ming Dynasty, showing how people built structures in this region during that era. The craftsmanship reflects local traditions and methods used across the area at that time.

The city is well connected to major transportation networks, including the Central Bus Station on Ziyou Road. The Beijing-Guangzhou Railway system provides additional travel options for visitors arriving or departing.

The Baligou nature reserve in the Taihang Mountains is home to wild macaques living in their natural surroundings. Visitors can catch glimpses of these primates as they move through the mountainous landscape.
