Happy Valley Beijing, Amusement park in Nanmofang, China.
Happy Valley Beijing is an amusement park with seven themed sections ranging from Nordic landscapes to ancient harbor designs, Mayan settings, mountain villages, and fantasy kingdoms. Each section blends rides, attractions, and performance stages together.
The park opened in early 2006 and was the second Happy Valley location established by its operator in China. Since then it has grown into one of the larger amusement facilities in eastern Beijing.
The grounds host seasonal celebrations throughout the year where visitors encounter both traditional Chinese festivities and contemporary festivals. These events become part of the park's rhythm and bring together different cultural expressions in one place.
The grounds are expansive with multiple entry points, so checking a map beforehand helps you reach the sections you want to visit. Comfortable shoes are useful since there is considerable walking, and the park tends to be crowded during peak afternoon hours.
One section blends Greek mythology with representations of Mayan civilization, creating an unexpected connection between ancient worlds. This unusual mix of different historical cultures is rarely seen combined this way in other parks.
