China Zun, Supertall skyscraper in Jianwai Subdistrict, Beijing, China.
China Zun is a supertall skyscraper with 108 floors above ground, reaching 528 meters in Beijing's financial district. The structure tapers from its 78-meter-wide base to a 54-meter waist section before widening again to 69 meters at the crown.
Construction began in 2013 and the building opened in 2018, becoming Beijing's tallest structure. It surpassed the previous record holder, China World Trade Center Tower III.
The building's shape draws from an ancient Chinese bronze ritual vessel called zun, blending traditional design language with modern construction. This curved silhouette reflects symbols rooted in Chinese history and customs.
The building connects to an underground transit network linking four subway lines across three stations, making it easily accessible by public transport. Inside, 101 elevators serve different sections, helping visitors and workers navigate the massive structure.
At 524 meters, the rooftop holds a helipad that stands as the world's highest building-mounted landing facility. This operational platform showcases cutting-edge infrastructure at the structure's peak.
