Disneyland Resort Pier, pier in Hong Kong

Disneyland Resort Pier is a docking facility on the southern side of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay on Lantau Island, designed for boats and yachts. The simple, open structure with ample mooring space sits about 15 minutes walking distance from the resort's main station.

The pier was planned to connect with a ferry service from central Hong Kong, but no ferry company took on the route. In 2016, Star Ferry launched an updated service using a retrofitted vessel that runs between Tsim Sha Tsui and the resort area.

The pier is free of charge and open 24 hours for private vessels, yachts and tour boats. It lies about a 15-minute walk from Disneyland Resort station. The east hall has been closed since Typhoon Mangkhut damaged it, so boarding uses the west side and its three berths.

The pier's east concourse has been closed since Typhoon Mangkhut damaged it, and the vintage lighthouse at its tip faces Ping Chau across the water. Anglers who fish here have drawn complaints from hotel guests over noise, and some were suspected of tapping electricity.
