Disneyland Resort Pier
Disneyland Resort Pier is a docking facility on the southern side of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay on Lantau Island, designed for boats and yachts. The simple, open structure with ample mooring space sits about 15 minutes walking distance from the resort's main station.
The pier was planned to connect with a ferry service from central Hong Kong, but no ferry company took on the route. In 2016, Star Ferry launched an updated service using a retrofitted vessel that runs between Tsim Sha Tsui and the resort area.
The pier is open around the clock at no charge and accommodates various types of vessels. Visitors should allow 15 minutes for the walk to the resort's main entrance, and the area tends to be quieter during early morning or late evening hours.
The pier offers a quiet vantage point on the waters surrounding Lantau, allowing visitors to experience Hong Kong from the water in a way that reveals a different perspective of the city. This calm alternative to typical land-based arrival makes the journey itself a memorable part of the visit.
