Iron Man Experience, Motion simulator ride in Tomorrowland, Hong Kong.
Iron Man Experience is a flight simulator attraction in the Tomorrowland section of the theme park, where visitors take seats in cabins and fly above the skyline of Hong Kong. The route passes between skyscrapers while a story unfolds around a fictional attack on the city, and guests become part of the action.
The attraction opened in January 2017 and was the first installation in a Disney park based on a Marvel character. Its introduction marked a new direction for the resort, which began integrating superheroes into its themed landscapes.
The setting combines modern superhero storytelling with landmarks from Hong Kong, letting visitors experience their own city through a cinematic lens. The integration of familiar streets and buildings gives the adventure a local identity that guests from the region immediately recognize.
Guests must be at least 102 cm tall to board the ride, and there are options to reduce wait times on busy days. The simulator cabins move throughout the experience, so visitors prone to motion sickness should keep this in mind.
The storyline was developed specifically for this attraction and does not appear in any film or comic of the series. Visitors see the recreated Stark Tower building during the ride, which serves as headquarters in the fictional version of Hong Kong.
