Third Pingnan Bridge, Road bridge in Pingnan County, China.
The Third Pingnan Bridge is a road bridge that crosses the Xun River and connects different areas of Guigang City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The structure spans more than 1,000 meters and serves as a major transportation crossing over the water.
Construction of this infrastructure project started in June 2018 and finished in December 2020, marking a new phase in regional development. The completion enabled improved transportation connections for surrounding communities.
Professor Zheng Jielian from Guangxi University led the bridge construction, which earned recognition in the 2018-2023 Top 10 Beautiful Bridges Selection.
The bridge is accessible to all types of vehicles and forms a key transportation link in the southern region. Visitors can use it for crossing or view the structure from certain vantage points.
During construction, the Beidou Satellite Navigation System was used to position hundreds of tons of arch ribs with precision. This technology allowed extremely accurate alignment of all components during assembly.
