Founded in October 2012 by Ondřej Beránek, the museum preserves the legacy of Karel Zeman, who developed innovative techniques combining live action with animation.
The museum exhibits demonstrate Czech cinematography achievements through interactive displays showcasing the production methods behind films like Journey to the Beginning of Time.
Located at Saská 3 in Prague's Malá Strana district, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 to 19:00 with regular admission at 300 CZK.
Visitors can experiment with their own cameras in specially designed studio spaces to recreate the cinematic techniques that Karel Zeman used in his productions.
