DDR Museum Motorcycle

The DDR Museum Motorcycle is a transport museum in Berlin displaying approximately 130 motorcycle models manufactured in East Germany. The vehicles are spread across roughly 800 square meters and include machines from makers such as Simson, MZ, and IFA.

The museum was founded in 2008 and documents four decades of motorcycle production in East Germany from 1949 to 1990. During this period, various models emerged that reflected the technical evolution of the country.

The exhibition features motorcycles from manufacturers like Simson, MZ, and IFA, reflecting how these brands shaped daily life and mobility during the East German period. Visitors can observe the engineering approach and design choices that defined a generation of riders.
