Neustadt a.d.Donau

Neustadt an der Donau is a municipality situated along the Danube River in the Kelheim district of Bavaria. The town spreads across the landscape with traditional buildings and offers access to the river and surrounding walking paths.

The original settlement of Seligenstadt received a charter from Duke Ludwig II in 1273, making it one of Bavaria's oldest. The name later changed to Neustadt, and the neighboring settlement of Wöhr merged with the town during the late Middle Ages.
