Ring°racer

Ring°racer is a steel roller coaster at the Nürburgring complex near Nürburg with thousands of meters of track winding through the site. The ride features trains designed to take visitors on a high-speed journey throughout the venue.

The ride opened at the motorsport complex as an attempt to bring the racing experience into roller coaster form. Technical issues, however, led to its permanent shutdown after just a few days of operation.

The ride blends the world of motorsport with the thrill of a roller coaster, reflecting the passion for racing that has defined this location for decades.

The site is accessible to visitors of the Nürburgring complex, where guests can easily walk to the roller coaster location. It is important to know that the ride itself no longer operates and remains visible only as a structure.

The ride was designed to use a compressed air launch system to achieve rapid acceleration similar to what racing drivers experience. This innovative propulsion method was one of the more remarkable features of its design.
