Historic paddock Nürburgring, Racing paddock at Nürburgring Circuit, Germany

The historic paddock at the Nürburgring is a surviving racing facility with restored pit walls, original enamel signs, and period metal lamps marking each pit space. The structure is divided into individual boxes, each identified by authentic markers and fixtures from the classic racing era.

Built in 1927 alongside the Nürburgring race track, the paddock stands as the oldest surviving pit facility in motor racing history. The structure has undergone careful restoration in recent years to recover its original 1920s appearance and character.

The paddock serves as a gathering place during the Nürburgring Classic, where spectators and drivers connect with the heritage of motor racing through the original pit spaces. You can see visitors walking through the boxes, examining the period details, and imagining the excitement of races that took place here.

Individual pit spaces can be rented for private events, product launches, or corporate gatherings throughout the year. The best time to visit is during the annual Nürburgring Classic, when the entire paddock comes alive with activity and you can experience the full energy of classic racing.

During restoration, modern additions were deliberately removed and replaced with exact color matches and original 1920s materials to maintain historical accuracy. This approach allows visitors today to see an unaltered view of how the facility appeared in the earliest days of modern racing.
