Historic paddock Nürburgring

The historic paddock at the Nürburgring is a surviving racing facility with restored pit walls, original enamel signs, and period metal lamps marking each pit space. The structure is divided into individual boxes, each identified by authentic markers and fixtures from the classic racing era.

Built in 1927 alongside the Nürburgring race track, the paddock stands as the oldest surviving pit facility in motor racing history. The structure has undergone careful restoration in recent years to recover its original 1920s appearance and character.

During restoration, modern additions were deliberately removed and replaced with exact color matches and original 1920s materials to maintain historical accuracy. This approach allows visitors today to see an unaltered view of how the facility appeared in the earliest days of modern racing.
