Großhadern

Großhadern is a residential district in southwestern Munich that mixes traditional Bavarian houses with contemporary apartment buildings. The area features numerous small shops and green spaces that create its everyday character.

The area was originally an independent village before becoming part of Munich on April 1, 1938. This incorporation marked a turning point in how the place developed and grew.
