Description
Schloss Auerose is a neo-Gothic plastered building featuring battlements, turrets, and corner towers with Neobaroque elements visible on its south side. The estate displays a blend of architectural styles arranged across multiple levels.
History
The manor was constructed between 1848 and 1849 by landowner F. A. F. Wilhelm von Borcken. In 1988, two dormers were removed from the roof, altering its appearance.
Culture
The south side displays an oval window, a monogram field marked VBB, and an image of a plowing peasant above the entrances. These details reflect the connection between the residents and their agricultural heritage.
Practical
The building can be viewed from the outside and displays its architecture clearly from all sides. A wide ramp running through the house provides easy access for visitors of all abilities.
