Bad Camberg

Bad Camberg is a spa town in Limburg-Weilburg, nestled in the Taunus Mountains and surrounded by forests. Natural thermal springs define the place and form the foundation for its role as a resort destination.

The settlement took its name from Cagenberg and gained importance in 1000 when Emperor Otto III granted the land to Burtscheid Monastery near Aachen. This connection to a powerful religious institution shaped the place's development for centuries.
