Beeskow

Beeskow extends across 77 square kilometers along the Spree River, with medieval structures and administrative buildings defining its central district.

The town became a significant ecclesiastical center in 1518 when the Diocese of Lubusz acquired it, maintaining this status until the last bishop died in 1555.

The municipality maintains partnerships with Kamen in Germany and Gmina Sulecin in Poland, fostering regular exchanges between residents of these communities.

The town center contains multiple government offices, including the district administration headquarters, serving the entire Oder-Spree region with essential services.

Among the seven districts of Beeskow, each area maintains its own distinct character while collectively supporting a population of over 8,200 residents.
