Schlangenbad

Schlangenbad is a spa town situated 320 meters above sea level on a valley slope of the Taunus mountains, comprising seven districts including Georgenborn and Wambach. The town centers around natural thermal springs and modern bathing facilities that shape the visitor experience.

The thermal springs were discovered in the mid-17th century and became the foundation for the town's development as a spa destination. Today nine sources continue flowing at temperatures between 21 and 32 degrees Celsius, maintaining centuries of healing tradition.

The town maintains a sister relationship with Craponne in France's Rhône region, bringing regular cultural connections between the communities. This partnership shapes the local character and allows visitors to experience international influences in daily life.
