Deutsches Museum library

The Deutsches Museum library contains nearly one million volumes and 1,700 current journals dedicated to science, technology, and their historical development.

Since its establishment in 1903, the library has collected and preserved scientific literature, becoming Germany's largest specialized repository for science and technology history.

The library maintains exhibitions of bookbinding artistry from the 19th and early 20th centuries, presenting selected objects from its collection to visitors.

The library opens daily from 9:00 to 17:00, including weekends, with book services and information desk closing during lunch hours from 12:00 to 13:00.

Users can access a research portal that simultaneously searches six specialized databases alongside the library catalog for scientific, technical, and environmental history.
