Bonifazius-Türme, Twin office towers near Central Station, Mainz, Germany
The Bonifazius Towers are a modern twin complex rising 95 meters with 24 floors of office spaces built from steel, concrete, glass, and aluminum. The two separate structures create a distinctive double profile on Mainz's skyline.
Completed between 1976 and 1977, the towers replaced an earlier plan for a single 130-meter structure. This shift in design resulted in the current twin tower configuration that stands today.
The towers host broadcasting studios on the 22nd floor where German television programs are produced daily for national networks. Visitors can sense the media activity that takes place within this modern workplace.
Underground parking with 450 spaces is available, including five accessible spots for people with disabilities. The lot operates 24 hours a day to accommodate all visitors.
Since 2004, an annual tower run competition takes place where participants climb 600 stairs to the 24th floor and back down. The fastest recorded run was completed in approximately 4 minutes and 24 seconds.
